Recent polling has shown that a majority of public school teachers support ESAs, so it didn’t surprise me when I received an email from Angela Dillon who is a school counselor at a public high school in Wisconsin.
Angela sends her son to Mazzuchelli Catholic Middle School in Dubuque, Iowa and she emailed me to share that ESAs gave her the ability to do that:
I was able to send my son, Evan, to Mazzuchelli because of the Education Savings Account (ESA) funding option. Without this opportunity, it simply wouldn’t have been possible. I work in education and fully support our public schools, but I’ve seen firsthand how schools struggle.
The ESA has given our family a choice, and that choice has made all the difference. Mazzuchelli has been an amazing school for Evan. I feel he’s receiving a state-of-the-art education in an environment where he can truly thrive. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and for the continued support of Catholic education across Iowa.
How have ESAs impacted your family? I’d love to hear from you! You can shoot me an email or share your story here.
