I love hearing from parents about how education savings accounts have impacted their family.
I recently heard from Jessica, a mom who had three kids attending Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque. She said ESAs have allowed her kids to stay enrolled.
I had three kids at Wahlert and one just graduated this year and if it wasn’t for the ESA I almost pulled my kids from Wahlert because I couldn’t afford all three anymore as my husband was gravely ill and can’t work so I was the only one working for family of six. ESA saved my daughter who almost didn’t graduate because we were behind with our tuition. My kids loved Holy Family, and when I told them I would have to put them in public high school because I couldn’t afford it anymore they were devastated. They said they would rather be homeschooled than attend public high school and Holy Family cared about my kids education especially my kids faith in Jesus.
